Organisation Members
We welcome organisational members to join our Members Community. These include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and Associate Member organisations.
Member applications are subject to Lowitja Institute Board approval
The Board meets quarterly and therefore delays in membership approval notifications may occur. For information on the governance of Lowitja Institute and to read our Constitution, click here.
Please note: Only full Member organisations have voting rights.
Full Member organisations
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations committed to the purpose and values of the Lowitja Institute, with voting rights. Our Constitution defines Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Organisation as an incorporated organisation:
(a) which has at least 51% of its members being Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people;
(b) which has at least 51% of its governing board being Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people;
(c) whose principal purpose and activities are related specifically to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Associate Member organisations
Organisations committed to the purpose and values of the Lowitja Institute, no voting rights.
