Lowitja Institute is Australia’s only national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled health research institute named in honour of its patron, Dr Lowitja O’Donoghue, AC CBE DSG.

We are an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled organisation working for the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through high-impact quality research, knowledge exchange, and by supporting a new generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health researchers.

We welcome applications from persons who share our values, have strong cultural knowledge, and are committed to excellence.

We especially encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.

Our office is based in Collingwood, Naarm (Melbourne) with workplace location negotiable. We offer excellent remuneration, conditions and salary packaging opportunities.
