The Pathways into Research tools aim to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to pursue pathways into research and for our people, organisations and communities to engage with and lead health research.

The resources were developed through a review and evaluation process with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the lead, to ensure that resources are accessible, relevant, easy to use and fit for purpose. They explore:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural and intellectual property
  • Data storage and governance
  • Community engagement
  • Culturally safe research
  • Leadership in research
  • Ethics

Resources

The resources are grouped into six themes featuring video interviews, decision-making guides, and information sheets.
