Examples of our work

Research, consultations and proposed ways forwards on strong mental health and wellbeing

This project delivered advice and recommendations for a national government agency on ways to strengthen policies, programs, and services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s mental health and wellbeing. Lowitja Consulting held focus groups and interviews held in three locations across Australia, a stakeholder workshop to test findings and advice and guidance from an expert Reference Group. We also worked with the Reference Group to prioritise the final recommendations and hosted a Roundtable of key stakeholder to discuss ways to implement key action relating to priority recommendations.

Advice and facilitation of a university-wide consultation on structural changes and strategic direction

The project involved design and facilitation of a consultation process to inform future positioning, structure, roles and remit of a centre within a large Group of Eight University. Lowitja Consulting designed and co-facilitated a consultation via an open process to seek feedback from staff and all members of the university executive and to help design a model appropriate for their university.
