Aaliyah is a proud Mirning Kokatha woman from the Far West Coast of South Australia, with strong cultural and ancestral ties to the Whadjuk and Ballardong tribes of the South West of Western Australia (Noongar Country). With extensive experience in Aboriginal health research across rural and remote communities, she is deeply committed to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal peoples. Aaliyah is a passionate advocate for strategic policy reforms, working to ensure that Aboriginal voices are not just heard but are central to decision-making processes.
