Congress Lowitja 2010

The Lowitja Institute and the CRCATSIH hosted the inaugural Congress Lowitja from 23 to 24 March 2010 in Sydney at the Aboriginal Health College.

Congress Lowitja’s purpose was 

• to showcase the successes and achievements of the former CRC for Aboriginal Health and to demonstrate how the Lowitja Institute will continue to support research to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
• to engage with and inform our stakeholders on the role of the Lowitja Institute and its CRCATSIH research programs
• to seek support and involvement.

This event provided an update on the research programs conducted by the CRCAH, outlined the new research agenda of the CRATSIH from 2010 to 2014, and detailed how organisations and institutions can be involved in, and benefit from, the Lowitja Institute.
