The Lowitja Institute Knowledge Translation Summit brought together First Nations Peoples, communities, researchers, and policymakers to share knowledge, showcase innovation, and influence systems change.

Drawing upon the themes of Lowitja Institute’s 4th International Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Conference 2025, the KT Summit introduced people working in the sector to Indigenous-led national and international programs and research that has led to better outcomes in Indigenous health and wellbeing. The KT Summit introduced key concepts and solutions in First Nations health policy, research, and evaluation, and highlights how these approaches can be applied in practice.

Through KT Summits, Lowitja Institute is strengthening sector capability by translating research and knowledge back to our communities, members and stakeholders. Through this process, we increase awareness and support of First Nations-led solutions that improve health and wellbeing outcomes, demonstrating how knowledge and research can be translated into meaningful action.
