Evidence in Aboriginal health and social settings: past, present and future
On 3 December, Aboriginal researcher Dr Joanne Luke presented research from her PhD studies, which focused on the quality and ethics of current research, evaluation, and evidence-based practice methodologies in Aboriginal health and social settings.
Dr Luke, who works with the Centre for Health Policy at the University of Melbourne, and the Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency, has 15 years’ experience working as a researcher and epidemiologist in the university and Aboriginal community controlled health sector.
