Lowitja Institute’s Policy & Advocacy team will host a Climate Change and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Ministerial Roundtable (The Roundtable) on Thursday 16 November 2023 (10-11am) at Parliament House on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country, Canberra.
The Roundtable will bring together relevant Ministers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander experts and community leaders, as well as representatives from the Department of Health and Aged Care and the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, to discuss current and future policies, strategies, and reforms aimed at addressing the impacts of climate change on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
