Program Manager – Policy
Sio is a proud Aboriginal and Polynesian man from Gimuy (Cairns). Prior to joining Lowitja Institute, Sio spent nearly two years working at VACCHO as a Principal Policy Officer primarily covering Health Justice and Closing the Gap. Before that, he spent roughly eight years working in the federal government across their national security and foreign policy portfolios. Sio has a Masters degree in International Development and is currently completing a Juris Doctor degree.
