Emma lives and works on Wurundjeri Country. Emma has spent most of her working career in the legal industry in both private firms and the public service. Emma made the move to the Aboriginal health sector during the COVID-19 pandemic taking up a position of executive assistant to the executive directors at VACCHO before moving to the Lowitja Institute.
