2013 Diabetes Australia Research Trust (DART) Grant Round
DART is pleased to offer the following grants starting in 2013 with announcements to be made on or around World Diabetes Day, 14 November 2012:
• The Viertel Postdoctoral Fellowship in Diabetes of $300,000
• The Type 2 Diabetes Underworks Millennium Award of up to $150,000
• The Type 1 Diabetes Millennium Award of up to $150,000
• A number of one year DART General Research Grants up to $60,000
• Three one-year DART Behavioural Research Grants up to $60,000

Request for Tender from General Practice Educational and Training Ltd
General Practice Educational and Training (GPET) is committed to making a contribution to reconciliation through high quality, innovative and regionally based general practice training. The Australian General Practice Training Program (AGPT) includes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Training and GPET is seeking to engage the provision of research expertise on Building Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Education and Cultural Mentoring Capacity. OHCHR Indigenous Fellowships: 2013 English Speaking Program
The Indigenous Fellowship Programme was launched in 1997 by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in the context of the first International Decade of the World's Indigenous People. The aim of the program is to give Indigenous persons the opportunity to gain knowledge on the UN system and mechanisms dealing with human rights issues in general and Indigenous issues in particular. Applications close on Tuesday 1 May 2012.

Postdoctoral Research Fellowships, Southern Cross University
Southern Cross University (SCU) is offering 3 Postdoctoral Research Fellowships that aim to support excellence in full-time research undertaken across the University in areas of strategic research priority. The University will be offering up to three new Fellowships during 2012. Successful applicants are expected to be based full-time at the University for the three year duration of the Fellowship. Available at Coffs Harbour, Lismore or Gold Coast and Tweed Heads Campuses

Endeavour Research Fellowship for Indigenous Australians
The Endeavour Research Fellowship for Indigenous Australians provides financial support for Indigenous postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows to undertake short-term research (4 to 6 months) towards an Australian Masters or PhD; or postdoctoral research in any field of study within a participating country.
