One of a series of papers from a two-year CRCATH fellowship designed to review systematically the connections between Aboriginal education and Aboriginal health. This paper documents and reflects on the process developed by a small research team in Central Australia to break the historical pattern of unequal exchanges between research institutions and the Aboriginal communities they study.
