David Morgan is the Chief Operations Officer of the Lowitja Institute. He has had over fifteen years experience working in the not-for-profit sector, predominately with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled organisations.

With over ten years experience working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and health research, David has a detailed understanding of the fundamentals required to manage such organizations. This is demonstrated by his extensive corporate governance and cross cultural experience.

David also has undertaken several large change management projects. His roles have included Chief Executive Officer, Financial Controller and Accountant. He is a degree qualified accountant and a Fellow of CPA Australia.  David has also been a Board member of several community controlled organisations, as well as a counselor of  the Northern Territory Branch of CPA Australia.
