Lisa Whop discusses Challenges and Enablers - Video

(9:52) Every two years the Lowitja Institute hosts Congress Lowitja. A feature of the 2012 program was the Challenges and Enablers session on the second day of the event (15th November 2012). In this session four Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander researchers shared the story of their journey in research. Chaired by Aboriginal researcher Kim O'Donnell (Flinders University), this session chronicled the highs and lows of a research career which, true to Congress' theme, highlighted the impact knowledge exchange has had in each researchers journey. In preparation for the session we interviewed three Aboriginal researchers about the challenges and enablers they experienced. Watch this clip of Lisa Whop's story.....
