CQI Conference web bannerWe are pleased to announce The Lowitja Institute 2012 National Conference on Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care: 'CQI for everyday and everybody', which will be held on 14-15 May 2012 at the Alice Springs Convention Centre.

The conference is being organised as part of the activities of our Program 1: Healthy Start, Healthy Life.

This event aims to:        

  • bring together researchers, service providers (including community based or controlled services), government agencies, industry and policy development departments to present their work/research on Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander primary health care.
  • share information and stories about the current state of play in relation to research findings, tools and expertise on CQI in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people primary health care.
  • identify gaps and overlapping CQI initiatives.
  • create a space where different sectors working on CQI can share information beyond the conference.
