“Legally invisible”: Law reform matters for Aboriginal health

A new article in Croakey, '“Legally invisible”: Law reform matters for Aboriginal health', argues that a clear legal framework is needed for better Aboriginal health.  The piece focuses on a recent Lowitja Institute discussion paper, Legally Invisible – How Australian Laws Impeded Stewardship and Governance for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, which was written by Genevieve Howse.

The "Legally Invisible" discussion paper can be downlaoded from our Publications page or purchased in hardcopy for $15 (including postage and packaging) by emailing publications@lowitja.org.au.

CQI Conference update

Registrations are now open for The Lowitja Institute National Conference on CQI, to be held on  14-15 May 2012 in Alice Springs.  Abstracts for oral presentations or posters are to be submitted by 1 March 2012.  Early bird registrations close on 2 March 2012.
