11th National Rural Health Conference, March 2011 - call for papers

The 11th National Rural Health Conference is being held on 13-16 March 2011 in Perth with the theme of "Rural and remote Australia: the heart of a healthy nation".

The conference will involve discussions on everything from the social and economic determinants, chronic disease, and electronic health records, to the rural and remote health research agenda. Considerations of the impact of implementing changes proposed in the Government’s three major health reviews will form the background for these discussions.

Conference organisers are calling for abstracts to be submitted by 23 August 2010.  A very early bird registration applies for thos who apply by 1 August and an early bird registration applies before 18 December.  For more information about the conference, go to the website at http://11nrhc.ruralhealth.org.au/.
